Our mission
To develop the idea of friendly computing: computing that is a friendly, useful and agile tool for the people who use it, and with it to build management tools within reach of companies of every size, from small workshops to large corporations.

1976
The company is founded
HU Ingenieros is founded, pioneering business technology.
1977–78
Programming on punched cards
Machines like the Hermes 211. Programs like the payroll of Renault's subsidiaries.
1979
A specialist department
We set up a department within other software companies.
1994
Our home in Madrid
We settle in Calle Fresnedillas, Madrid. Our first Windows programs.
2000
Leadership in AI
The team comes to be led by a PhD in Artificial Intelligence.
2025
Today
50 years of experience, still led by the PhD in Artificial Intelligence.
Who is behind it
Francisco Javier Herrero Uceda
Founder and director · Since 1976
Fran to everyone. He founded the company in 1976 and still runs it, and he is the face long-standing customers know: if you have worked with us for years, you have spoken to him. The HU comes from his surname.
Miguel Herrero Uceda
Partner · PhD in Artificial Intelligence
With the company since the early years. Much of the program customers use today was written by him.

Systems go through him: installations, servers and backups. It is the work you only notice when it fails, and here it does not fail.
Jesús Martínez Ruiz
Database development and industrial integration
He designs and maintains the program's databases and solves the part almost nobody does: making the ERP talk to what is already in the factory, including cutting machines and industrial equipment.
