Software for glass companies: the Squalus ERP
Products, glass processing, workshop, measurements, installations, vehicles, quotes, orders, delivery notes and invoices. Glass, with its sizes and its price lists, understood from the start.
- More than 100 glass companies use it every day. We have worked in this sector since 1976.
- Free data migration. We bring over your items, customers and price lists from the system you use now.
- Verifactu, the Spanish tax agency's invoicing requirement, is built into the program itself. It is not a separate module.
We are a software company based in Madrid, Spain. Our programs and their documentation are in Spanish.

A glass order, from the phone call to the invoice
What happens inside the program with a real order, step by step.
The customer, with their whole history
Their record shows what has been quoted, delivered and invoiced, with their payment terms and the price list assigned to them. No parallel spreadsheet.
The price comes from the size
Type the glass and the size in millimetres. The program works out the square metres, applies that customer's price list and calculates the line.
It knows what an insulating glass unit is made of
Enter an insulating glass unit and it proposes the two panes and what goes in the cavity. If an order needs something else, you change it there.
What needs cutting today
Ask for the day's work and get it all together: customer, quantity, product, cavity gas, sizes and the order each piece belongs to, grouped by cavity type.
Every sheet leaves the workshop labelled
Print all the labels of a delivery note at once, one per sheet, with the delivery note number, customer, material, dimensions and units.
Measurements, installations and deliveries, assigned
Jobs are grouped by the operator they are assigned to, with the customer and the status of each one: pending, accepted or finished.
Check your stock before buying more
Stock of each glass by batch, warehouse and location: how many packs and sheets are left, which supplier they came from and when.
The invoice, with its QR code and your letterhead
The document comes out of the program itself: tax details, lines, total and the tax QR code, ready to hand over or send.
Before accepting the next order, check the risk
What the customer has on order, what is invoiced and unpaid, pending bills and how much is left before their credit limit.
The cutting order is a list of grouped pieces, not a sheet-optimisation layout: that needs a dedicated optimiser. Stock control is by packs per warehouse and location, not an inventory of loose offcuts.
Is it for your company?
Squalus is built for the glass industry, not adapted to it. These are the profiles we have worked with since 1976.
Glass retail and installation
Counter sales, on-site measuring and installation. Quotes by size with tiered price lists, minimum billable area, edging per linear metre and drilling per unit.
Flat glass processing
Cutting, edging, drilling, tempering and laminating to order, for other glass companies or for construction. Work orders, workshop control and traceability of every piece.
Insulating glass manufacturers
Insulating glass units with their compositions, gases and spacers, cutting tables and orders, your own labels and the declaration of performance.
Mixed aluminium and glass joinery
Windows, enclosures and shower screens, where profile and glass share the same quote and both have to be handled at once.
If your glass business does not quite fit any of these, tell us how you work and we will tell you frankly whether it suits you. We will also tell you if it does not.
Squalus modules, one by one
Implement it in stages. Each module works with the rest.
Quotes with sizes
Enter height and width and the program finds the price by area band, applies the customer's discounts and adds size surcharges. A quote becomes an order or delivery note without retyping.
Orders and delivery notes
Every document with its status under control: confirmed, done, finished in the factory, prepared or pending delivery with its reason.
Invoicing and Verifactu
Individual invoices or grouped delivery notes, corrective invoices, receipts and cash book. Verifactu built in: chained record and tax QR code on every invoice.
Workshop and glass processing
Production and work orders, workshop load and the status of each order. Every process with its price: straight or curved cuts, edges, drilling and small-piece surcharge.
Insulating glass units
Full compositions: panes, gas in each cavity and spacers, each with its price. Cutting tables and orders, your own labels and a daily summary of pieces.
Measurements and installations on the phone
The operator sees the day's jobs on the phone, calls or opens the map with one tap, uploads photos and collects the customer's signature on screen.
Purchasing and suppliers
Purchase price lists per supplier, orders, receiving with quality control and delivery notes pending invoice. EDI exchange and supplier response-time studies.
Warehouse and stock
Up-to-date stock with inventories, low-stock alerts, movements and history per item. Labels with locations and a record of glass racks.
Price lists and price agreements
Several price lists by customer type, individual price lists, full-sheet prices and customer-item agreements. Bulk changes and margin-based prices.
Projects and progress certificates
Each customer's projects with their own texts on documents, cost studies per project and progress certificates to invoice as work advances.
Deliveries and locator
Vehicles, routes, zones and districts; deliveries assigned to vehicles and delivery reports. The locator shows customers and deliveries on the map.
Integrated accounting
Sales go to accounting without retyping: journal, balance sheets, VAT with its official forms and SII. Bank remittances in XML and a complete bills portfolio.
Production labels
Labels you configure without programming: choose data and sizes, with your logo and barcode, and save up to nine models.
Agents, statistics and reports
Agent commissions and settlements, sales visits, statistics by item, family, zone or postcode, charts and a report builder that exports to Excel.
